How to reset Canon Pixma MP287 printer Error Code P07

STEPS 1 : Entering Service Mode

1. Turn the printer off (ON/OFF)
2. Press and hold the STOP/RESET
3. Press the Power ON/OFF
4. Remove the STOP/RESET (Note: power ON/OFF is still on hold)
5. Press the STOP/RESET 6x and release the STOP/RESET and Power ON/OFF
6. The entered the Service Mode, all LED will stop blinking.

STEPS 2 : Using Software Resetter

1. Download Software Resetter ServiceTool v3 for Canon Pixma MP287.
2. Extract and Run the software ServiceTool.exe.
3. Insert some A4 paper, the printer will print the result.
4. Look for "Clear Ink Counter" section, press the "Main" button and wait for the message "A function was finished" and then press "OK" button.
5. Press the "Platen" button located beside the "Main" button.
6. Look for "Print" section, press the "EEPROM' button, select "Rear Tray" and pres "OK" button.
7. The printer should printout the result. That's all, you may turn off your printer now. Sometime you need to press the POWER button several time in order to turn off the printer.
8. error code P07 return to normal.

Reset Printer Canon Pixma iP2770 Error Code 5B00 (full ink absorber)

If your printer a light blink on the POWER and RESUME button alternately and it will show an error 5B00, it means that your ink absorber inside the printer is almost full. In order to solve this you need to clear or reset the counter protection of your printer. To do this, follow this steps.

make sure that the power cable and usb cable are connected,

Steps I : Entering Service Mode
You have to enter in service mode in order to used the resetter. To do that follow this procedure,

1. Turn off the printer without pulling the power cords.
2. Hold down Resume button and press Power button.
3. Keep holding down Power button and let Resume button go.
4. Then Press Resume button 5 times then let BOTH buttons go.
5. You will notice that the Alternate Blinking error is gone, this means that the printer is in Service Mode  state.

Steps II: Using the Resetter

1. Download Software Resetter ServiceTool v3 (www.labservice.blogspot.com).rar for Canon Pixma iP2770
2. After you download the resetter and extract it and double click "servicetool.exe"
3. Press the "Main" Button, Then press "EEPROM Clear" button if a pop-up appear just click OK
4. Then power off the printer(sometimes you have to press twice the power button to turn off) and turn on again.
